Built in partnership with the Housing Trust, Warruya delivers 27 apartments just minutes from Wollongong's CBD. Residents are close to major employers, including the public and private hospitals, and have easy access to trains and buses.

The building includes a mix of 7 one bedroom, 17 two bedroom and 3 three bedroom apartments, with basement parking for every unit.

Comfort and sustainability were front of mind throughout the design. Warruya features water capture and grey water re-use, passive cooling and shading, and solar power. Of the 27 dwellings, 24 meet Silver Liveability standards and 3 are fully adaptable, ensuring the building works for residents at every stage of life.

Construction began in September 2024 and wrapped up just 21 months later.
